Lots of folks dislike the burnt flavor that coffee gets when it sits in a glass pot over a heating element. To avoid this, coffee shops often brew right into large thermal pots to keep the coffee warm without it becoming overcooked. The Zojirushi Fresh Brew does that, too, but in home-sized batches. Only worked under a year and a half
I bought this April 08 and remember being disappointed when I pulled it out of the box because it felt so flimsy with cheap thin plastic.

Zojirushi EC-BD15 coffee maker
It is durable, easy to use. Uses less electricty to keep coffee warm by not using a warming plate. And very easy to clean and make the coffee.

Most Excellent
The Honda Accord of coffee makers. It’s very accurate in that the coffee is great every morning, it’s very easy to clean and maintain with simple no nonsense controls.
